RESILIENCE
10 years ago, Amy well and truly burnt out physically and mentally whilst working as a senior commercial manager in the Food Industry. It took her years to recover and her physical health still suffers to this day.
But she built her career in Food back up to a senior management level but with a new found balance that worked for her. In this talk, she will share with you:
- How success on the outside was papering over the cracks of stress, perfectionism and imposter syndrome
- The true meaning of resilience and how you can build your own toolkit based on a 4 pillar framework
- How tapping into your support network can help you be more resilient through change
How a problem solving, growth mindset is the key to success
CHALLENGES FOR WOMEN IN FOOD
Women working in Food face some real challenges due to a number of factors including less flexibility and male dominated environments.
In this talk, Amy discusses both some of the systemic issues but more importantly what we, as women in Food can we do to help ourselves.
She will discuss how:
- What got you here won’t always get you where you want to be
- Perfectionism and imposter syndrome can hold us back
- How to assert ourselves even when we hate conflict
- How to manage your mind to help you manage others
- How being really good at what you do can be a hindrance (but don’t stop!)
Amy has worked with 100’s of women in the Food and Drink industry and shares her insights on the key issues she sees and what we can do about it.

IN CLIENT’S WORDS

ACCESSIBLE…
“I was immediately struck by Amy’s ability to take a subject of passion, frustration and often of emotion, and break it down into easy ways to understand and offer simple strategies to help people.
I was keen to make this accessible for my team. Amy joined our meeting where she shared her thoughts on ‘How to let go of perfect’. The team took a lot of useful tips from this to use in their day to day work.
Amy also facilitated and supported a group innovation session at Greencore, bringing together and supporting out own thinking, helping us to build on this and formulate potential propositions for the future.
Her accessible and energetic approach worked a treat and we all had a greatday ideating and strategising for the future. I would have no doubt in recommending Amy for workships or team coaching support”
